Asthma Internship Program
The workshop prepares participants to teach asthma curriculums in the schools and/or to become better informed on various methods of asthma management.
Asthma 101A Workshops
Asthma 101A Workshops are the first step toward completing the Asthma Internship Program.
The workshop is 4 hours and generally held on Saturdays.

Completion of the Asthma Internship Program will entail participation in:
- Asthma 101A
- One six-week classroom curriculum
- Interested participants must register for Asthma 101A in advance.
With the workshop you will have an increased knowledge and awareness of the following:
- Respiratory System Works
- What is Asthma
- Symptoms of Asthma & Treatments
- Nocturnal Asthma
- Asthma Medications
- Avoiding Asthma Triggers
- How to Monitor Peak Flow
