Organization Background: Bayview Hunters Point Health and Environmental Resource Center (HERC) is a community-driven organization designed to promote the health and wellness of community residents and environmental awareness issues.  HERC’s goal is to reduce the prevalence of asthma emergencies and to encourage early diagnosis of breast, cervical, and prostate cancer.

Our organization provides education and training to residents on how to improve the quality of life in Bayview Hunters Point using environmental issues as a focal point.  Regular office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All staff members work flexible hours due to some weekend and evening hours. 

Resumes submitted to HERC will be kept on file for six months.
