Our programs are tailored for all ages, reaching out to those who have a health problem as well as family, friends, and interested volunteer interns.
HERC incorporates Community First involvement. The programs are designed to educate residents about the environmental conditions influencing their health.

Women’s Health
HERC promotes awareness of breast cancer (all work done voluntarily) and addresses other women’s issues through its women’s empowerment support group and sponsorship of the annual African American Breast Cancer Conference.
Presentations
Presentations are made to community organizations, local business branches, colleges, schools,and church groups on asthma, breast and cervical, cancer. »>
Community Meetings at the Resource Center
The Resource Center is available for community groups on health issues .
The Center holds about twenty people. Five days’ notice is required to use the Resource Center. »>
